• Jupiter - oldest, biggest, red spot planet. Has the most moons
• Uranus -coldest planet
• Mercury - has no atmosphere and is the smallest planet
• Venus - hottest planet because of its thick atmosphere
• Asteroids - are rocks and metals
• Comets - are made of ice and dust
• Meteor - is the flash light that we see in the night sky
• Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune - The order of the planets
• Planet qualifications:

  1. it must orbit the star
  2. it must be big enough to force it into spherical shape
  3. it must be big enough that its gravity has clear away any object
• Biggest to smallest planet:

  1. Jupiter
  2. Saturn
  3. Neptune
  4. Uranus
  5. Earth
  6. Venus
  7. Mars
  8. Mercury
