Filaments

Cards (5)

  • Polylactic Acid (PLA) has low melting point, high rigidity, does not respond to UV Ray and deformed in constant stress
  • Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is flexible, and the most common filament type. The higher the number, the easier it is to print.
  • Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) is natural, has moderate UV, has higher heat resistance, sticks, can be printed in an open printer, slower to print, and must be dried thoroughly.
  • Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is fast, commonly plastic used, has impact resistance, toughness, rigidity, phenomenal stability under load, stinks, and cannot be printed without an enclosed printer.
  • Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) is very similar to ABS, new and improvised, has higher UV resistance, is resistant to environmental stress cracking, long-term heat, and chemicals, is less available and the price is unfortunate.
