    The researcher gains more knowledge as he/she conduct more studies. He/She becomes an 'experts' on a particular field that he is studying in.

    It seeks to find more information and a broader perspective to what is currently known; Also known as Exploratory Investigation.

    It gives additional information on newly discovered ideas that are results of exploration; Also known as descriptive research.

    A realistic undertaking that must result to empirical data.
  • Empirical data are those derived from actual observations of a phenomenon, interviews of people who witness incidents, analysis of first-hand document sources, excavation of artifacts and other actions that yield valid evidences of one's investigation.
