  Biodegradable
• It refers to the waste that does not decompose easily.

  Non-biodegradable
• It refers when waste is divided up according to particular classifications. It also allows people to properly manage wastes.

  Waste segregation
• These are wastes that can be found in hospitals and manufacturing facilities such as factories. It is poisonous and dangerous to humans, and if these mix in with other substances, they will contaminate the environment.

  Hazardous wastes
• What are the 5Rs?

  Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle
• Refuse - Means avoiding accumulating wastes
• Reduce - Means minimizing waste
• Reuse - Means using the same material for the same purpose
• Repurpose - Means turning what would otherwise be waste material into something that could be used for a purpose other than it was originally intended.
• Recycle - Means processing waste material so that it could be converted into a product which can be used again.
