72 children: 36 boys, 36 girls from Stanford university nursery obtained via opportunity sample
What were the children matched on?
4 5 point scales of pre-existing aggression including physical, verbal aggression alongside aggression towards inanimate objects and aggressive inhibition

Group 1- aggressive model: throwing, kicking, and shouting at bobo
Group 2- non-aggressive model: playing with toys eg. tinker toys
Group 3- control, no model

Play was stopped because the toys were said to be for other children so they had to stop playing with the fire engine and car for example

Room with aggressive toys eg guns, bobo doll and non-aggressive toys like a tea set. Observed through one way mirrorevery 5 seconds so 240 intervals.
