  Yangon (Rangoon) - capital of Myanmar.

  Shwedagon Pagoda - famous supta in yangon.
• Hsang Waing - Myanmar’s traditional folk ensemble

  The 2 types of instruments in Myanmar are soft sounding and loud sounding instruments.

  Loud sounding - performed on open air at ceremonies and festivals.

  Most of Hsang Waing Instruments are loud sounding.
• H’ne - multiple reed oboe with a crooked form.

  Pat Waing - 21 drums in a circle.

  Kyi Waing - small bronze gongs in a circular frame.

  Maung Hsaing - larger bronze gongs in a rectangular frame.

  Saung Gauk - the national instrument of Myanmar. It is a soft sounding, 13 stringed angular harp.

  Pattala - Bernese Xylophone.

  An ensemble may be accompanied by the Saung Gauk, Pattala, Violin, or piano for a formal and classical performance indoors.

  Padauk - famous myanmar mahogany used for the body of saung gauk.
