Virtues - Religion

• Virtue - Is any developed capacity of mind or will to accomplish moral good.
• Cardinal from the Latin word cardo which which means "Hinge."
• Prudence - Virtue of good moral judgement.
• Fortitude - Virtue of moral strength or moral courage.
• Justice - The firm will to give persons their due.
• Temperance - Virtue of moderation or self-mastery.
• Cardinal Virtues: Prudence, Fortitude, Justice, Temperance
• Theological Virtues - Virtues directed to God.
• Faith - Virtue of believing in God and seeking to know and do his will.
• Hope - Virtue by which we desire and actively wait of God's kingdom and our own sharing in God's eternal life.
• Love - Also called "Charity" is the mother of all virtues.
