During the
February
Revolution of 1917, the tsar
abdicated.
The tsar had been unable to
rally
support.
In October 1917 the provisional government also fell.
One reason for the fall of the provisional government was their
refusal
to disengage from the war and focus on problems at
home.
The
Bolsheviks
used this failure to their advantage.
The tsar's poor
leadership
led to revolution.
The people, the workers, and the
Duma
agreed that change was needed, and
abdication
if necessary.
Provisional government were more liberal than the Tsars
