  • Schizotypal personality Disorder
    • Acute discomfort in relationships; cognitive or perceptual distortion (eccentric behavior)
    • Nursing Action : develop self care,and social skills and improved functioning in the community.
  • Antisocial Personality Disorder
    • Patter of disregard for and violation of the rights of others.
    • Nursing Action: Limit setting, confrontation,teach client to solve problems effectively and manage emotion of anger and frustrations.

    • Unstable interpersonal relationships,self image,and affect as well as impulsivity,self mutilation (expression of intense anger or helplessness or self punishment)

  • Histrionic Personality Disorder
    • Excessive emotionality and attention seeking.( Exaggerates all the situation even minor occurrence.
    • Nursing action: teach social skills, provide factual feedback about behavior.
  • Narcissistic personality Disorder
    • Grandiose: lack of empathy: need for admiration.( Arrogant or haughty attitude
    • Nursing Action: matter of fact approach;gain cooperation with need treatment teach client any needed self care skills.

    • Social inhibitions;feeling of inadequacy; hypersensitive to negative evaluation

    • Submissive and clinging behavior; excessive need to be taken care of, fear of separation
    • Nursing action: foster client's self reliance and autonomy;teach problem solving and decision making skills technique.

    • Preoccupation with orderliness,perfectionism and control.
    • Encourage negotiation with others assist client in making timely decision cognitive restructuring technique.
  • Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD)

    A mental health condition characterized by a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others. Can include behaviors such as persistent lying, using aliases, impulsivity, lack of remorse, and consistent irresponsibility.
