• Oxygen test


  A glowing splint identifies oxygen. If held at the end of a tube it should relight
• Hydrogent test

  A burning splint identifies hydrogen. The splint is held at the open end of a test tube. This creates a pop noise
• Carbon Dioxide Test

  Lime water identifies carbon dioxide it becomes cloudy.
• Chlorine Test


  Litmus paper identifies chlorine by turning white.
