• Attitudinal Listening Profile – measure an employee’s listening style
• Leisure Listening – practiced by “good-time” people who listen only for words that indicate pleasure
• Inclusive Listening – the style of the person who listens for the main ideas behind any communication
• Stylistic Listening – practiced by the person who listens to the way the communication is presented
• Technical Listening – hears and retains large amounts of detail, but does not hear the meaning of details
• Empathic Listening – tunes in to the feelings of the speaker and most likely to pay attention to nonverbal cues
• Nonconforming Listening – individuals attends only to information that is consistent with her way of thinking
