• Republic Act no. 9003 - Also known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management of 2000, this law requires local government units (barangays) to collect and segregate solid waste.

• Republic Act no. 6969 - Also known as the Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Waste Act of 1990, it establishes rules and regulations on the proper disposal and management of hazardous chemical wastes.
• Republic Act no. 7942 - Also known as The Philippine Mining act of 1995, this law regulates the mining activities in the country.
• Republic Act no. 9175 - Also known as The Chain Saw Act of 2002, This act regulates the ownership, sale, and importation of chain saws in the country.
