• Population is all the people that lives in a specific place
• Increase is when a value or quantity goes up
• Emigrants: leave their country

  Immigrants: move into a country
• Voluntary is when you can decide if to do something ro not
• Discrimination is when someone is excluded from a place
• Perception is the way we might understand or interpret something
• Internal migrants move within a country

  Eg: London to Leeds
• International migrants move between countries

  Eg: Pakistan to the UK
• Persecution is when someone is beign followed for discriminating people
• Famine is when there is not food
• Malnourishment is when the body is skinny because of the lack of nutrients
• Push factors are the reasons people want to leave a place
• Pull factors are the reasons people want to move to a place
