All journalists had to be members of the ReichChamber of the Press
Goebbels created the GermanNewsAgency which merged various news agencies under government control
The Nazi publishing company EherVerlag bought up existing newspapers. As a result, the number of Nazi-owned papers increased from 2.5% in 1933 to 82% in 1945
As German newspapers became dull and boring, there was a 10% drop in newspaper sales between 1933 and 1939
Cultural Censorship:
The film industry was heavily censored and used to spread the Nazi's propaganda message
By 1942 all film companies became state-owned and monitored by the Reich Film Chamber
All artists were required to become members of the appropriate Reich culture chamber
