There are three types of RNA:
messenger
RNA (mRNA),
transfer
RNA (tRNA), and
ribosomal
RNA (rRNA).
Nucleic acids
can be classified into
two
main types based on their chemical composition:
Ribonucleic Acid
(RNA) and
Deoxyribonucleic Acid
(DNA).
RNA is
single-stranded
while DNA is
double-stranded.
Both
DNA
and
RNA
are
polynucleotides
made up of
monomer
units called
nucleotides.
