    • What is Primary Data?
      Data collected directly by researchers for the study they are currently undertaking
    • What is Secondary Data?
      Data that's already available and that wasn't collected by the researcher for their current study.
    • What are the strengths and weaknesses of using secondary data?
      S - less expensive and less time-consuming
      W - It's not always in the most suitable format to test a hypothesis
    • What are the strengths and weaknesses of using Primary data?
      S - the most suitable format to test a hypothesis
      W - expensive and time-consuming to obtain
    • What is a Meta-analysis?
      Combines results from multiple studies on the same topic to estimate the size of the effect of a treatment or intervention.
    • One strength of a Meta-analysis is that it usually has high validity but for Meta-analysis to have high validity, researchers must compare studies with the same research methods, that are valid and are well designed.
