Art appreciation:
Recognition of a work of art from an objective point of view – its physical attributes and formal constructions
Combines physical attributes with subjective statements based on viewer’s reaction to the work
Expression:
Ability to convey meaning through writing
Involves low-level skills such as spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar
Also involves high-level composition skills such as planning, organization, determining content, and revision to express information effectively
Imagination:
Ability to produce and simulate novel objects, people, and ideas in the mind without any immediate input of the senses
