varaibles: anything that can change the outcome of an experiment
independent variables: the variable that is manipulated by the researcher to see how it affects the dependent variable
dependent variable: the varaible that is affected by the change in the independent variable
unit: standard way of measuring the amount of a substance in a sample or solution
controlled variable: a variable that is kept constant throughout the experiment, so that it can be manipulated to see how it affects the dependent variable
importance of controlled variable: to get fair results, to avoid confounding variables
dimensional analysis: is the study of the relation between physical quantites based on their units and dimensions.
principle of homogeneity of dimension: states that the dimension of each term of a dimension equation on both sided should be the same.
