    • too hot vasodilation takes place and too cold vasoconstriction takes place
    • during exercise the body regulates more heat to it is even more important to regulate temperature so people don't overheat

    • Platelets in the blood form clots
    • this stops the body losing an excessive amount of blood
    • during exercise the risk of a cut is increased therefore clotting is important in ensuring that injuries are not life threatening
