A useful instrumental method that is used to analyse solutions that contain metal ions
Describe the method used for Flame emission spectroscopy?
A sample of the metal solution is placed in a flame and the light emitted is passed through a spectroscope and this produces a line spectrum .
In Flame emission spectroscopy, what can the line spectrum produced be used for?
Identifying metal ions in the solution . It can also measure the concentration of the metal ions
