  • Accepting the learners - the teacher should avoid imposing prejudices or standards to students.
    1. Communicating honestly - the teacher should communicate with the students honestly about the expectations of the students and what their responsibilities are.
  • Empathetic listening - the teacher does this by putting him/herself in the students’ shoes and trying to see him through his students’ eyes.
    1. Charisma - teachers should be able to make students listen. Should be able to treat the lesson as like a big conversation and should know how to keep the conversation going.
    1. Cheerfulness - to keep the student awake and interested in what the teacher is saying, the teacher must be lively and cheerful.
    1. Caring attitude - should make students feel they are wanted in their class
