    The metaphor of 'one body' represents the importance of sticking together as one part of the body not functioning has consequences on the rest of the body
  • "They will be taught in fire, blood and anguish"
    'Fire, blood and anguish' could be referring to the world wars that the 1945 audience has already experienced and therefore, truly understands the weight of this message.
