  • Jesus makes it clear - the teachings are recorded in the Bible - e.g. Parable of the sheep and goats.
  • Believers shouldn’t store up treasures on earth, should store treasures for heaven - e.g. good deeds.
  • If everyone followed them there would be harmony.
  • We have all the warnings we need in this life - said in the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus.
• HARD

  • Demanding
  • Requires service to others and sacrifice.
  • Requires us to love our enemy- says “love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you.”
  • We should forgive if the person is sorry - portray in the Prodigal Son, the son is truly sorry, he reconciles with his father.
  • Belief in the resurrection requires real faith.
  • High standards.
