point, line, and plane-are the basic terms in geometry. They are also called the undefined terms.
A point is represented by a dot. Points are named using capital letters.
Collinear points are points that lie on the same line.
Coplanar points are points that lie on the same plane.
Intersection is the set of points that is common to both figures. Intersection could be a point, a line, or a plane.
Space is the set of all points.
A line is represented by a set of infinitely many points with double- ended arrows. Lines are named using any two points on it or using a single lowercase letter.
A plane is represented by a flat surface.
A postulate is a property or rule that is accepted without proof.
A theorem needs to be proven first before it is accepted as a true statement. In proving theorems, postulates may be needed.
"Unique" in Geometry means that it exists and it is the only one.
