  • A bearing is an angle in degrees measured clockwise from North
  • Bearings must always be written in 3 digits
  • Bearings must always be measured and constructed clockwise
  • Bearings must be measured and constructed from the point marked North
  • The bearing of point A from point B is equal to the bearing from A plus/minus 180°
  • If the angle in the bearing you're measuring is reflex, then measure the the inside angle and subtract it from 360 degrees
  • When measuring a bearing, position the protractor so 0 faces North
