           - connect ppl with nature
           - help reduce stress
           - improves the physical, psychological and social well-being of its users
  • Nature depend on local communities:
    • People in neighbourhood -> look after nearby nature areas -> ensure that plants and animals living there thrive
    • Individuals -> encourage one another ->enjoy nearby nature areas in a sustainable manner without causing irreversible damage
    Eg: NParks organise range of activities for schools -> week of international day for biodiversity
    • Green Wave Campaign -> aim to educate youths -> importance of protecting the natural environment
