Young people who live in poverty/in the lower classes are more likely to face issues that impact their ability and opportunities in school, such as adverse childhood experiences, or simply a poorer education quality than schools in more affluent areas, dominated by the middle and upper classes.
Limits their ability to learn about political system/right to vote, making them less likely to participate in elections.
  • Educational Attainment - EXAMPLE & ANALYSIS
There was an average turnout of approximately 40% in the most deprived areas of the UK during the 2024 general election.
