  • Adverse Impact- a substantially different rate of selection in hiring which works to the disadvantage of a particular group.
  • Invalid screening - refers to the use of screening methods or assessment tools that lack validity in predicting job performance or other relevant outcomes.
  • multiple cut-off approach - is a model in which an applicant for a job must meet a minimum score on each of several selection instruments in order to be hired.
    • compensate for a weakness or poor performance in one stage. However, it is more time-consuming and expensive.
  • Multiple Hurdle method - is a recruitment selection structure in which a chain of hurdles are established which the candidate must get through in order to move on to the next step of the selection process.
