What is an ecosystem?
A system in which organisms interact with each other in an environment
Define the term 'abiotic':
Non-living parts of an ecosystem. E.g: air, water, heat, rock
Define the term 'biotic':
Living organisms such as plants, insects and animals
What is a biome?
A large area of distinctive plant and animal groups which have adapted to their particular environment.
What is meant by the term 'flora'?
Plant life.
What is meant by the term 'fauna'?
Animal life.
What is meant by the term 'ecotourism'?
Sustainable tourism.
