What is skewed distribution?
A distribution where the data is not evenly spread out and is concentrated towards one side.
what is normal distribution?
a symmetrical spread of frequency of data.
the mean, median and mode are all located at the highest peak
what is a positive skew?
The long tail is on the positive side (right) of the peak
most of the distribution is concentrated on the left
what is a negative skew?
the long tail is on the negative side (left) of the peak
most of the distribution is concentrated on the right
