    2. Increased pressure in the river against the dam walls has increased earthquake incidence.
    3. building the dam meant that 1.2million people had to be relocated.
  • Floods around the Yangtze have lead to the relocation of 1.2 million people and the loss of many livelihoods due to many being farmers.
