  • when virtues are acquired and polished by constant practice, they form character of a person
  • habits are behavior practice ingrained in a person that is often done spontaneously because it has been fashioned as integrally part of the person already

    • what kind of person do i want to be
    • where i am now or what is my character
    • what habits or practices should i develop
  • the fundamental question in our lives is what kind of person should i be
  • conscience is the inner voice within us or voice of God
  • we try to understand person wholistically or holistically instead of focusing on isolated actions
  • a common thread in the community is the desire to be good
  • repeated actions exhibit goodness of a person
  • discipleship is having an intimate relationship with Jesus and to follow His ways
  • being a virtuous person means having a set of related virtues
