  • Recruitment- The process of attracting, selecting, and hiring suitable candidates for job positions
  • Internal Recruitment is giving jobs to staff already employed by the business such as promotions. It is good because it is cheaper and quicker to recruit, people already familiar with the business and how it operates however the business may know the strength and weakness of the candidate, no new ideas can be introduced from outside.
  • External Recruitment is recruiting from outside the business. This is expensive but allows businesses to find the best person for the job, they bring fresh ideas into the business and there are more candidates available.
