  • Bible Cutting - Randomly opening the bible to a verse and interpretating its message as God's will.
  • Individualistic Mindset - their mindset may selectively focus on those elements of the moral situation that support their bias or prejudice.
  • Passive Conformist - they leave their decision making to their barkada or authority figures.
  • Elements in Moral Decision: Investigate, Inquire, Imagine, Introspect, Implore, Implement.
  • Investigate - Good moral decisions can be made only when we have a clear awareness and assessment of reality.
  • The object or nature of the act - refers to what one has actually done or is considering doing.
  • The intention of the act - It refers to the person’s intended goal for committing the act. It the motive of the Act.
  • Inquire - It is our duty as Christians, to understand and strive creatively the teachings of the Church.
  • Imagine -Because of our reason, we have the capacity to imagine both the possibilities and consequences of our actions.
  • Introspect - We recognized that emotions can help us grasp the full
    reality of the actions intended.
  • Implore - Our prayer must permeate the whole process of our decision making: before, during and after making the decision.
