    These developmental tasks are mastered by teenagers in a sequential order, following three stages in the adolescence period, namely: early adolescence, middle adolescence, and late adolescence.
  • Early Adolescence
    • Rapid Growth and and Various Changes in body happens. Your primary developmental task at this stage involves adapting to biological and mental development. An adolescents needs to accept one's physique and use one's body effectively.
  • Middle Adolescence
    • The primary tasks of a teenager on this stage are Achieving New and More Mature relations with age mates of both sexes, achieving a masculine or feminine social role, and achieving emotional independence from parents and other adults.
  • Late Adolescence
    • Feedback Keeps the Communication going. Respond to what has been heard. Keep an open mind and avoid overreacting emotionally to a message or feedback.
  • Adolescents in the 21st Century
    There are a lot of factors that shape today's adolescents. Social development has effects on your responsibility. Personality and behavioral factors, which are prominently noticed about adolescents of this generation, may have already been present before, but they have been emphasized by modern social developments, such as the culture of "instant results", valued place on materialism, technology, and family structure.

    • One has to be Sexually Mature to be able to prepare for marriage and family life. There are times when adolescents are puzzled with sensual feelings vis-a-vis real intimacy. Therefore, this development task is oftentimes not obtained at this time but at a later period.
