  • FITT - Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type
  • Frequency - Refers to the numbers of time per week you engage in physical activities or exercise.
  • Intensity - The difficulty or exertion level of your physical activity or exercise.
  • Time - The duration of a single workout, usually measured in minutes or hour.
  • Type - The particular type of physical activities or exercise you choose to do. The mode of activity you choice depends on:

    Cardiovascular Conditioning - improves circulation and strengthens the heart, lungs and blood vessels. It builds endurance and strength for the heart muscle.

    Your current fitness level - level of physical condition and endurance. A person's 'fitness level' refers to the overall physical condition and endurance of an individual. It is a measure of how well the body is able to perform various physical tasks, such as running a marathon or lifting weights.
  • INTENSITY

    Target heart rate monitoring - Your target heart rate is a range of numbers that reflect how fast your heart should be beating when you exercise. “A higher heart rate is a good thing that leads to greater fitness.
