Access to sample (can be hard to in without a gatekeeper)
Gaining the trust and cooperation of the group --> building a rapport --> time consuming
Leaving the group once the research is concluded (getting out)
Limitations with researcher's characteristics with covert participant observations. (eg an old male trying to do a covert participant observation on teenage girls) --> access issues
