Correlation

• When you've done your test, compare your $\rho$ with the table
• If your $\rho$ is more extreme than the table entry, reject the $H_0$ , and explain the context
• If your $\rho$ is less extreme than the table entry, say there is no evidence to reject $H_0$
• $H1$ : $\rho<0$ or $\rho>0$ or $\rho\ne0$ (two-tailed)
• $H_0:$ $\rho=$$0$
