  2. Action potential is then created, and travels down T-tubule
  3. Calcium is then released due to charge change
  4. Calcium binds to troponin and cross bridges form
  5. acetylcholinesterase removes ACH from synaptic cleft
  6. calcium is then transported back to sarcoplasmic reticulum
  7. Tropomyosin binds active sites on actin, causing the cross bridge to collapse
• wave summation occurs when a neuron is still firing in a muscle contraction, adding onto the next muscle contracton
• golgi tendon reflex causes muscle relaxation
• Stretch reflex causes muscle contraction to protect overstretching
