Mosque: Beliefs

Cards (14)

  • 'Allah' is the Arabic word for God
  • Islam means 'submission to god'.
  • Barzakh is a domain connecting this world to the hereafter where all humans and Jins have to live after death and before Qiyaamat as per their ranking
  • Barzakh is much larger than this earth, with some experiencing comfort and others facing hardships
  • Every person has a fixed lifespan on earth that cannot be changed; when their time expires, Hazrat Izra'eel removes their soul
  • After death, the soul remains connected to the body and feels everything inflicted on the body, experiencing even more than during earthly life
  • Accursed souls of unbelievers remain in crematoriums, on their graves, in Chaah-e-Barhoot in Yemen, and in different earths up to the seventh earth and even below in a bottomless abyss called 'Sijjieen'
  • Unbelievers recognize visitors to their crematoriums and graves, seeing, hearing, and knowing what is being said, although their souls are imprisoned
  • Belief: Soul enters another body after death, known as 'Tanasukh' or 'Awagawan', re-incarnation, is baseless and kufr
  • Belief: Death is the separation of the soul from the body, not the soul's obliteration; believing in total obliteration makes one a Bud Madhab (misguided and deviant)
  • Belief: The deceased can speak, and all animals except ordinary humans and Jins can hear him
  • When the deceased is buried, the grave squeezes him: for a Muslim, gently like a mother's hug, for a kaafir, with such force that ribs protrude from the opposite side
  • After burial, the deceased hears the footsteps of those leaving, then two Angels, 'Munkir' and 'Nakir', appear with fierce appearances, tearing through the earth towards the deceased
