• scalar quantity has magnitude only,no direction
• vector quantity has magnitude and direction

• volume of cuboid= l x w x h
• volume of circle= 4/3 x pi x radius squared
• volume of cylinder= pi x radius square x height
• volume of cone= 1/3 x pi x radius square x h

• precaution when using measuring cylinder: it should be place on a flat and horizontal surface, avoid splashing, avoid parallax error
