1.Desired gene is
cut
from another
organism DNA
using
enzymes.
2.Gene inserted into a
vector
eg.
bacteria
,
plasmid
or
virus.
3.Vector inserts
genes
into
cells
of another
organism
early in development.
4.Organisms develop with
desired
characteristics due to every cell synthesising that specific protein.
