MS Word

• Microsoft Word - is a word processor developed by Microsoft.
• Word Start Screen - is where you'll be able to create a new document, choose a template, or access your recently edited documents.
• Quick Access Toolbar - lets you access common commands no matter which tab is selected.
• Title Bar - displays the document name followed by a program name.
• Ribbon - contains all of the commands you will need to perform common tasks in Word.
• Command Group - contains a series of different commands. Simply click any command to apply it.
• Ruler - is located at the top and to the left of your document.
• Scroll Bar - used to scroll up and down through the pages of your document
• Zoom percentage - reflects the zoom control number to the right of the slider bar
• Read Mode - displays your document in full-screen mode.
• Print Layout - It shows the document as it would appear if it were printed.
• Webpage Layout - shows how your document would look as a webpage
• Word Count - displays the number of words in your document.
• Page Number Indicator - helps you keep track of the number of pages your document contains.
• Document Navigation Pane - is where you can search your document by headings or scroll quickly through its pages.
• Backstage view - gives you various options for saving, opening a file, printing, and sharing your document.
• Zoom control - is a graphical control element that allows you to zoom in or out of an object or a document.
