  • Microsoft Word - is a word processor developed by Microsoft.
  • Word Start Screen - is where you'll be able to create a new document, choose a template, or access your recently edited documents.
  • Quick Access Toolbar - lets you access common commands no matter which tab is selected.
  • Title Bar - displays the document name followed by a program name.
  • Ribbon - contains all of the commands you will need to perform common tasks in Word.

  • Document Navigation Pane - is where you can search your document by headings or scroll quickly through its pages.
  • Backstage view - gives you various options for saving, opening a file, printing, and sharing your document.
  • Zoom control - is a graphical control element that allows you to zoom in or out of an object or a document.
