  • The key clause of the Treaty of Versailles limited Germany's army to 100,000 men and forbade using or making submarines and air force. It also made Germany lose all of its overseas colonies, lose parts of their East territory to Poland and the rights to Rhineland were to be given up for 15 years. Germany had to pay reparation, give control of the coalfields to France and pay 270 billion US dollars to the Allies.
  • The difference between communism and fascism is that Communism is based on the idea of a classless society with no government control and removal of private property while Fasim is extreme nationalism, racism and support for imperialism .
  • The factor that contributed to the rise of fascism in Europe in the 1920's and 1930's was the Great Depression which caused mass unemployment, poverty and misery around the world.
