3rd Duma 'Duma Of Lords And Lackeys' - November 1907-June 1912

• Franchise was restricted to the richest 30% of men to ensure the government received greater support and so pro-government parties performed well
• Agreed to the majority of government proposals but disputed some reforms
• Stolypin introduced an emergency law to reduce the representation of peasants and workers.Consequently Octobrists and Conservatives dominated and the Duma was more compliant
• However there were still some disputes and it was twice suspended in 1911. Also in 1911 Stolypin was assassinated.
