  • Philippine Media-Based Art Photo graphy
  • In its early stages during the late 19th century photography was viewed as a purely technical process of recording visible images by light action on light sensitive materials and is related to science. It's very named derived from the greek "Photos" (Meaning light) and "graphos" (Meaning writing) states this process literally.
  • Optics photography relies on the principles of optics which is a branch of physics that deals with the behavior and properties of light. Cameras use lenses to focus light onto a photosensitive surface such as film or a digital sensor. Understanding the properties of light such as refraction and reflection is crucial in capturing clear and sharp images.
  • Camera obscura - the fundamental technology behind photography is the camera obscura effect. This effect involves the projection of an image from the outside world unto the surface inside the darken box or room. The camera obscura effect forms the basis for the development of pinhole camera and the transformation of the three dimensional scenes into the two dimensional images
