• TOTALITARIANISM • Refers to the most extreme modern dictatorship
• COMMUNISM • Karl Marx - Advocation class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and paid to their abilities and needs.
• FEMENISM • Strands Including socialist, femenism, liberal femenism and radical feminism • Diverse but unifying theme is to enhance the social role of woman

• POLITICAL SCIENCE • Branch of knowledge that deals with systems of government and analysis of political activity and behavior.
• POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY is concerned with fundamental questions about the nature of politics and its relationship to other aspects of human life.
• OLIGARCHY • group of people having control over the country or institution
• TYRANNY • Is a cruel and oppresive government. Unreasonable use of power

• POWER • Is exercises by the government under leadership of a political leader.

• LEGISLATIVE - The legislative branch of government is responsible for making laws within a country.
• EXECUTIVE - The executive branch consists of the President, his or her advisors and various departments and agencies. This branch is responsible for enforcing the laws of the land.
• JUDICIAL - The judiciary branch interprets the law and decides whether it has been broken. It also determines if any punishment given out was appropriate based on the crime committed.
• Cabinet - The cabinet is the executive branch of the government of the Philippines.
