  • Waste Disposal
    1. Keep garbage bins well away from the kitchen in a cool shaded position from pets
    2. Disinfect the bins regularly, use a bin liner if possible
    3. Empty and wash out kitchen bins daily
    4. Do not allow sink waste pipe to become clogged, instead put a sink strainer in the hole of the sink to prevent clogging
    5. Sanitize sinks regularly to kill germs and prevent stagnation

    3. Wash your hands after preparing each dish to prevent cross-contamination of food, whether it is cooked or uncooked

    1. Buy food from clean reputable shops where food is stored properly
    2. Ensure there are no animals in the food shop before purchasing
    3. Check the expiry dates on all types of food, perishable and non-perishable
    4. Ensure all packages are intact and sealed before purchasing
    5. Dented cans should never be purchased
    6. Purchase only fresh foods at the market and ensure that foods are covered and protected from flies and dust

    7. Do not put your fingers into your nostril while preparing and serving food
    8. Do not lick finger then touch food
