Central Nervous System (CNS)

• The Central Nervous system consists of the brain and the spinal cord.
• The spinal cord enables communication between the brain and the Peripheral Nervous System.
• The Brain is responsible for virtually everything we think, feel, and do.
• The Central Nervous system is responsible for receiving, processing, and responding to sensory information.
• The brain is an organ of nervous tissue that is responsible for responses, sensation,  movement, emotions, communication, thought processing, and memory.
• The brain is made up of four lobes: frontal, parietal, occipital, and temporal.
