  After eliminating the clutter and organizing the remaining items, the next step is to thoroughly clean the work area

  Focuses on discarding unneeded items from the work area that is deemed to destruct smooth operations
• Seiton


  Can only be done if the work area has been cleaned of unneeded items. The focus of this step is to create an effective storage area where you can easily find and retrieve things when needed at the same time put them away after use
• Sorting

  Will help classify accumulated items and distinguish the important from unnecessary items
• Seiketsu


  Once the three steps are undertaken the next thing to do is to standardize. Assign persons to specific tasks and define their job responsibilities that will become apart of the regular work duty
• Recycling is the conversion of old and used materials into new products. Materials that can be recycled are wood, glass, metal, paper and plastic. Electronic waste is considered special waste.
• Collection - the recyclable materials are collected.

  Sorting - after recyclable materials are collected, then are taken to a material recovery facility which is designed to separate recyclable materials.

  Reclamation - plastic are cleaned using grinders.

  Remanufacture - manufactures of plastic, glass and aluminum products get reprocessed.

  Purchase - it is great to buy products made from recycled materials.
• Screwdrivers - They are used to loosen or tighten screws with slotted heads.

  Pliers - These are used for cutting, twisting, bending, holding wires, and cables.

  Hammer - useful when assembling projects that involve pounding.

  Handsaw - used for cutting wood

  Socket wrench set - is composed of nut drivers, hex drivers, and starters in assorted sizes.
• Standard/Flat Screw driver: the blade tip resembles a negative (—) sign.

  Phillips screwdriver: the tip is resembling a positive (+) sign.
• Lineman's pliers: used to grip, hold, and cut electrical wires and cables.

  Side-cutting pliers: used for cutting fine, medium and nig wires and cables.
